Nickel gap boards create clean lines and subtle shadow reveal between boards in interior wall paneling applications. Often mistaken for shiplap, nickel gap paneling requires face nailing and features a consistent, recessed gap of 1/8 inch that adds quiet visual interest to walls and ceilings. Milled from Eastern White Pine, our nickel gap boards suit a range of aesthetics, from classic farmhouse to breezy coastal interiors.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Nickel Gap Tongue and Groove Installation
Our nickel gap boards use a tongue and groove profile that locks each board in with the next. Boards are blind nailed through the tongue before the next board’s groove is placed over it, completely concealing the nail head. This design makes installation straightforward and ensures clean lines with a consistent gap every time—no need for spacers or guesswork. The result is a polished, uniform look that holds up beautifully over time on both walls and ceilings.
